The Wall. I used to know the wall as the one of the first really cool albums I had from Pink Floyd. The song "Another Brick in the Wall", a lament of a teenager isolated behind a wall, built by years of child abuse, over-protection and abusive teachers. Basically, events of the child's life caused him/her to build a wall around him/herself, until they just couldn't take it anymore. Then, of course Twisted Sister stepped in and said they "were not going to take it anymore". Yeah, yeah, I am definitely dating myself here with that music, but the point I'm trying to make is why does The Wall, the current administration is proposing to build, scare people? Do they feel it isolates us? Is it arrogant? Is it really immoral? These questions are asked in all seriousness, because I just can't figure it out.
I can tell you this. I would 100% agree with them if the wall was actually being proposed to HOLD PEOPLE IN !!! But its not. Wouldn't it be immoral to hold people in a country? Not let them out. Ask Russia. Ask Germany. And, wouldn't it be isolating to hold people in rather than out? Sort of a way of our government saying to us, "no, you cant see the rest of the world". And wouldn't it be immoral to lock innocent people/ citizens INTO our country like a prisoner? Again, ask Germany. Folks, once again, the left has it completely backwards.
Imagine that.
The left is once again on its libocritical self-appointed high horse, telling you and me that we are immoral for protecting our country. The truth is, Pink Floyd and Twister Sister both had it right. After all the abuse, you're just not going to take it anymore and you will build a wall to stop the abuse all together. What abuse? How about illegal entry? How about drug running? How about human trafficking? How about terrorism? oh wait, did i mention the illegal part of all this. Why doesn't that just stand alone, on its own...the simple fact its ILLEGAL. What do they not get about that? Is it really that hard to understand or do we need to send dictionaries to every libster with a bend on the top of the page Ill - Ilm? Look it up people. I think that's the main rub here is that just by definition alone we should all be on the same page. But no, not our left friends. The sheer fact that they do nothing personally to house, feed, protect these people, but constantly whine that everyone else should, should tell you everything. Very similar to setting up a tax structure that takes 70% of someones income. Why don't they give 70% of theirs, showing us all how its really "not that bad". Will never happen folks. Rant done, on to points they do not know how to defend.
Points the left will never know how to defend, so they change the subject:
1. There are legal entry points where anyone is free to enter and be processed as immigrants in hopes of becoming citizens.
2. We have laws that state how and why we act on #1 to protect the current citizens of the country.
3. People are not anti-immigrant, only anti-law breaking immigrant.
4. Is it immoral to break the laws on the books?
For a party that is constantly touting the word "fair" in everything they bluster, fair share, fair wages, where are they on the fairness to those who do enter legally?
